Q-factor adjustment
Thanks to its 14 mm thread, the new Look axle allows a 2 mm Q-factor adjustment using a specific washer, available separately. This allows a change from 53 to 55 mm.
Chromoly axle line for optimal reliability
The Kéo Classic 3 axle line uses an oversized steel axle. It consists of a mini ball bearing (12 mm inner x 18 mm outer) and a needle bearing. To ensure the tightness of the bearing and needle, a new spacer has been positioned. This minimizes friction and makes rotations smoother. Thanks to a new control mechanism for pressing the axle line into the body, our pedals are completely reliable. Look axles are only approved after a rotation test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm, with a load of 90 kg on the pedal center and one eccentric rotation (one shock per revolution). This test goes far beyond the current EN14781 standard.
Adjustable release tension.
The spring tension can be adjusted between 8 and 12 Nm, allowing all users (from beginners to highly experienced users) to choose the setting that best suits their respective discipline.
